We believe all communities are INTERDEPENDENT in nature and that providing residents of the mid-Columbia gorge FREE on-line access to one another through a community service directory, community access bulletin boards, chatlines, and on-line newsfeeds, they will better realise common goals and accomplish more than each working by his/her self alone.
We believe that people learn PRIDE through knowlege of learning to access and utilize on-line information and thereby can enhance their individual and collective satisfaction of life in the gorge and on the internet.
We believe we are responsible for dealing with the internet, the world at large, and one another in GOOD FAITH and in an ETHICAL manner.
We believe that better informed citzens make better choices and that making better choices will enable continuous QUALITY IMPROVEMENT in the lives of mid-Columbia gorge residents, as well as each civic community, and the mid-Columbia gorge community at large.

We are responsible to each person for fair consideration as residents of the mid-Columbia gorge community and in providing a COMMITMENT to QUALITY in safe, healthy on-line environments.
We believe we as internet users are responsible to all other members of the on-line community in providing COOPERATION and consideration that meets or exceeds their expectations of what an on-line neighbor in a thriving, healthy on-line community should be.
We are each responsible to CHlLDREN, realizing they are the inheritors of the decisions we make in our daily lives as individuals, groups, internet users and web content providers, as well as long term decisions we make as a community.
We are each responsible for DEVELOPMENT of his/her role in making the internet an enjoyable, safe, successful and fulfilling place to surf.
GorgeLink is responsible for providing accurate information, access to resources and outstanding LEADERSHIP through QUALITY COMMUNITY SERVICE.
